Delicate Beauty

***Writing Tip: Think of a person's hands.  Use line one to describe them and line two to describe what she is doing with them. With line three use a metaphor about an exotic place, then in lines five and six write what you would ask this person.  Use line five to convey an answer that shows understanding of part of what you asked.***

Her hands were ivory, thin and smooth, yet fragile like glass waiting to shatter.
Water slipped through her fingers as she cupped her hands in the lake's crystal depths.
Crystal depths that shone in the rain, lights near the Eiffel Tower.
Was she the thin piece of magic that held the delicate tower together?
Would Paris taint her beauty?
Her faint smile lingered, "my beauty is strong."
