We can have ice cream

watch girly TV

spend time talking about nothing

But no tears can fall. 

A piece of my heart

can sit on the couch

but I can't make him read it. 

Too many walls are between us. 

I can type up a story

listen to music

and dance

But I'm not allowed to be happy.

We all have to be strong.
