***Writing Tip: Take a handful of jewels, working one into each stanza of a poem and see what you come up with. ***

Glistening diamonds,
thy princess awaits.

Blackened by sands,
she is now clear quartz.

Opal heals her,
sparkling in the sun.

She deserves heaven
with its pearly gates.

Glistening like diamonds
my princess awaits.
